Planting new streets

Architecture shouldn't be only treated as a single object inserting into the site, but a space always interacting with the surrounding urban scale. by visiting the existing site, my observation to the site is that it stilll keep the traditional Medieval city spacial pattern, in which streets are the negative space created by the edges defined by the continued building volume along the streets. Streets so that become a space where social communication normally take place. In regard to the criteria of the client, Sociality can be believed as a crucial theme for a Community Center project, therefore new streets are intended to be planted in order to response to the existing urban pattern and city function. Consequently, new streets, with a centralized plaza as well as gardens treated as a social venue are designed into the site, so that architecture is surrounded by the landscape, and landscape is also within the architecture.
