Comprehension On 2 Chosen Quotes

Charles Darwin

"The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference."

The evolution stage that the quote described, to me, seems refer to very beginning of the world. The feature of insensitive, isolated, emotionless, and hopeless feeling may be the concern. In terms of the visual expression, i guess the control of height, light and openess(lots of holes and voids) of space may help to deliver this kind of experience.

Stephen Hawking

"The whole history of science has been the gradual realization that events do not happen in an arbitrary manner, but that they reflect a certain underlying order, which may or may not be divinely inspired."

In this Quote, there are two themes covered through the content. The "underlying order" is the first concern. Thus, the sequence of space will be intended in the design in order to the achieve the visual order. The second concern is the exploration of the universe. relating to the common sense, ones will prefer to explore the issues from its outside appearance(phenomenon) to its internal essence. Therefore, the order of gradual moving from outer space to inner space will be the main experience when people actually are in Hawking's space.

"Asceticism is the trifling of an enthusiast with his power, a puerile coquetting with his selfishness or his vanity, in the absence of any sufficiently great object to employ the first or overcome the last."
